Bottom Line
Signal Loom AI runs entirely on your infrastructure. Your audio files are processed locally on your machine — they never touch our servers unless you explicitly use a cloud API endpoint you chose to enable. We do not see, store, or share your data.
What We Collect
Account data: When you sign up, we collect your email address and basic account information. This is used solely to manage your account and communicate about your subscription.
Usage data: We collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., minutes transcribed, model usage) to improve our products. This data cannot be linked to individual users or accounts.
Support communications: If you contact us for support, we keep those records to respond to your request.
What We Do NOT Collect
- Audio files or transcriptions are never uploaded to SignalloomAI servers (unless you explicitly call a cloud API endpoint you enabled)
- We do not access your files, recordings, or any content you process
- We do not sell, share, or license your data to third parties
- No tracking pixels, no behavioral profiling, no advertising
Local Processing (Core Product)
Signal Loom AI’s core transcription product runs 100% locally on Apple Silicon (MLX Whisper). Your audio files are processed on your machine. Your data never leaves your infrastructure.
Exception — Optional Cloud API: If you use SignalloomAI’s cloud API endpoints (opt-in), those endpoints process your audio per our standard data handling terms. You choose when to use cloud processing.
LoomLens AI
LoomLens AI provides pre-flight cost estimates for AI model queries. When you use LoomLens, your prompt content is sent to the model providers you’ve selected (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, etc.) under their respective privacy policies. SignalloomAI does not store your prompts beyond session-level debugging logs, which are auto-deleted within 30 days.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe handles all payment data per Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies — only for session management and authentication. No advertising cookies, no tracking cookies.
Children’s Privacy
Signal Loom AI is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Data Retention
- Account data: retained until you delete your account
- Usage analytics: anonymized and aggregated, retained indefinitely in aggregate form
- Support communications: retained for 2 years
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of your account data
- Request deletion of your account data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of anonymous usage analytics

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. For material changes, we will notify existing users by email.
